The benefit of polyamory is that you don’t have to find all of your needs in one person, or stress them to be something they are not. If the idea of your partner off with someone else would detract from your alone time, causing you to stress or worry, then this is not the solution for you. And if your partner is open to the idea of seeing other people. This will only work for people that are genuinely excited about the idea of spending time alone. This relationship style can offer you a guilt-free break in which you don’t have to stress about letting your partner down for not meeting their social needs.
